Cheese Biscuits with Black Garlic
Cut cold butter into cubes and place in a bowl. Add the flour, grated cheese, salt and cloves of black garlic and mix using hands until the butter softens and a soft and smooth dough is formed. Black garlic may remain in pieces. Roll the dough into an elongated sausage between your hands, then wrap the dough into parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to solidify. Cut the “sausage” into 1 cm thick slices and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. The cookies look soft when taken out of the oven, but when they cool, they harden, so let the cookies just stand on the oven sheet for at least 10-15 minutes.
